Description
This Motoscope classic from Motogadget is a versatile digital instrument that replaces your speedometer, tachometer (14,000 rpm), and indicator lights.
The dimensions are 85 mm in diameter (80 mm for the body) and 34 mm in depth, featuring a classic round case, a white dial, and a red indicator needle driven by a precision stepper motor. The LCD screen and four LED indicators display numerous functionalities accurately and reliably. The LCD screen shows speed, or you can combine it with the Motoscope classic speedo.
The design complements all types of machines, whether modern or vintage, including classic bikes, youngtimers, custom, or sport models. High-quality materials, handcrafted assembly, and meticulous quality control ensure the highest possible quality in terms of functionality and appearance, made in Germany.
The high-quality aluminum case is turned and machined from a solid aluminum block using CNC technology. The surface is first brushed and then anodized in black or natural aluminum, depending on the chosen model. The case is 100% waterproof. The viewing glass is made of special scratch-resistant plastic. Engine speed readability is optimal thanks to the red needle on the white dial.
The screen remains readable and backlit even when directly exposed to sunlight. You can choose different display measurements on this screen (speed or other indications...) via a push-button included in the kit. Four ultra-bright indicators complete the instrument. The red LED acts as a warning light when you reach the defined threshold for engine speed (Shiftlight), air, water, or oil temperatures (min./max.), and oil pressure readings (min./max.)... Different warnings are easily distinguishable by various patterns, either flashing or continuous lighting, which you can select during setup. Default settings or saved values will, of course, be retained in memory even if the power is cut off. The connection cable measures about 55 cm in length, and the connectors are already pre-installed on the instrument side.
The engine speed measurement input can be easily connected to the ignition coil or ignition box, depending on your motorcycle model. The stainless steel speed sensor is included; it is very discreet (M5/22 mm), and you can easily connect it to the front or rear wheel via the 1.5 m connection cable.
We optionally provide suitable sensors for optimal measurements of air, oil, and water temperatures, as well as oil pressure (optional, see details below).
