Description
This classic Motoscope from Motogadget is a versatile digital instrument that replaces your speedometer, tachometer up to 8000 RPM, and indicator lights.
The dimension is 85 mm in diameter (80 mm for the body) and 34 mm in depth, featuring a classic round housing, a white dial, and a red indicator needle driven by a precision stepper motor. The LCD screen and four LED indicators display various functions accurately and reliably. It can show speed, or you can combine it with the Motoscope classic speedo.
The design suits all types of modern or vintage machines, whether it's a classic motorcycle, youngtimer, custom, or sportbike. High-quality materials, hand assembly, and meticulous quality control ensure the highest possible quality in terms of functionality and appearance, made in Germany.
The high-quality aluminum housing is turned and machined from a solid aluminum block using CNC technology. The surface is first brushed and then anodized in either black or natural aluminum, depending on the chosen model. The housing is 100% waterproof. The viewing glass is made of special scratch-resistant plastic. The readability of the engine speed is optimal thanks to the red needle on the white dial.
The display remains readable and backlit even when exposed directly to sunlight. You can choose different display measurements on this screen (speed or other indications...) via a push button included in the kit. Four ultra-bright indicators complete the instrument. The red LED acts as a warning light when you reach the defined threshold for RPM (Shiftlight), air, water or oil temperatures (min./max.), oil pressure reading (min./max.)... Different warnings are easily distinguished by different patterns, either flashing or continuous lighting, which you can select during setup. Default parameters or saved values will, of course, be retained in memory even if the power is cut. The connection cable measures approximately 55 cm in length, and the connectors are already pre-installed on the instrument side.
The engine speed measurement input can be easily connected to the ignition coil or ignition box depending on your motorcycle model. The stainless steel speedometer sensor is included, and it is very discreet (M5/22 mm), allowing you to connect it effortlessly to the front or rear wheel via the 1.5 m connection cable.
We optionally provide suitable sensors for optimal measurements of air, oil, and water temperatures as well as oil pressure (optional, see under details).
