Description
This Chronoclassic tachometer from Motogadget is a versatile digital instrument that allows you to replace your speedometer, tachometer, and indicator lights.
The dimensions are 85 mm in diameter (80 for the body) and 34 mm in depth, featuring a classic round housing, a white dial, and a red indicator needle driven by a precision stepper motor. The LCD screen and four LED warning lights display the many functions accurately and reliably. It allows for tachometer display, or you can combine it with the Motoscope classic.
The design suits all types of modern or vintage machines, whether it's a classic bike, youngtimer, custom, or sports motorcycle. High-quality materials, handcrafted assembly, and meticulous quality control ensure the highest possible quality in terms of functionality and appearance, made in Germany.
The high-quality aluminum casing is turned and machined from a solid aluminum block using CNC technology. The surface is first brushed and then anodized in black or natural aluminum, depending on the chosen model. The casing is 100% waterproof. The viewing glass is made of special scratch-resistant plastic. Readability of the speed is optimal thanks to the red needle on the white dial.
The display remains readable and backlit even when directly exposed to sunlight. You can choose different display measurements in this screen (RPM or other indications...) via a push button included in the kit. Four ultra-bright indicators complete the instrument. The red LED acts as a warning light when you reach the defined threshold for RPM (Shiftlight), air, water or oil temperatures (min./max.), oil pressure reading (min./max.)... Different warnings are easily distinguished by different patterns, either flashing or via continuous lighting that you can choose during setup. The default settings or saved values will of course be retained in memory even if the power is turned off. The connection cable measures approximately 55 cm in length, and the connectors are already pre-installed on the instrument side.
The engine RPM measurement input can be easily connected to the ignition coil or the ignition box depending on your motorcycle model. The stainless steel speed sensor is included, it is very discreet (M5/22 mm), and you can connect it effortlessly to the front or rear wheel via the 1.5 m connection cable.
We optionally provide suitable sensors for optimal measurements of air, oil, and water temperatures as well as oil pressure (optional, see details below).
