Street Defender protective sliders for Kawasaki Z750 / Z1000 new design Evotech

The new Evotech protection sliders have been designed and manufactured to absorb the impact in case of a fall. This means that the impact is absorbed by the slider rather than directly affecting the frame.

In the event of a fall, the slider is pushed against a calibrated spacer with an increasing diameter. This produces a deformation of the slider, thus reducing the energy produced by the impact.

Laboratory tests and real-world conditions have shown a significant reduction in the stress transmitted to the frame compared to other products on the market.

The slider is made from a blend of plastic and fiberglass. It combines high shock absorption with strong abrasion resistance. In this way, the slider glides over the asphalt without excessive wear.

The aerodynamic shape of the slider not only gives a more aggressive look to the motorcycle but also minimizes the possibility of the slider locking in case of a collision with an obstacle.

On the plastic pads, a graduated scale is also engraved which, in the event of a fall, will provide an indication of shock resistance.

The main body is made of black anodized solid aluminum for longevity. Its diameter and section are both calibrated to further reduce the stresses induced by the frame in case of a fall.
